Founders
Uche Ezichi
Uche wears the dual hats of an executive educator and pastor. His passion for SYL grew from seeing firsthand the lack of spirit empowered Christians in senior ranks in the marketplace.
He is an executive coach, speaker and facilitator with over 17 years of experience working in and with FTSE 100 companies and leading business schools. He delivers individual, group and team coaching. He conducts leadership programmes for clients such as IFC (International Finance Corporation), Accenture, Jefferies, Citi Bank, London Stock Exchange Group, Pfizer and PA Consulting. He is part of the senior global coaching faculty in INSEAD Executive Education and is completing a part-time doctorate in leadership at Henley Business School. He has authored three books, including Count The Cost: The 5 Unspoken Rules of Sustainable Success.
He is an Assistant Pastor at Liberty Church London and part of the leadership team.
Vona Ezichi
Vona’s passion stems from her mission to be the representation she didn’t have, first as a black woman in the marketplace and second a Christian and passionate lover of Jesus.
She started her career in KPMG and was promoted a year early to audit manager. Following an internal audit Role in BNP Paribas, where she managed large-scale audits, she became the EMEA head of Risk and Compliance for JLL Property and Asset Management. She completed her time at JLL as a Global director responsible for working capital strategy for a business unit. Vona is now Managing Director (Head of finance for Europe and APAC) at Nuveen Asset Management.
She is also co-founder of D-vees, a food and drinks production company inspired by West African recipes. Vona is an ordained leader at Liberty Church London, and a board advisor to the trustees on governance and compliance.

THE SYL conference will be to Christians in the marketplace what the Global Leadership Summit (GLS) is to leaders worldwide.
Pillars
Praying community – “Your kingdom come. Your will be done On earth as it is in heaven.” Matthew 6:10.
Partnering community – Two are better than one Because they have a good reward for their labour. 10 For if they fall, one will lift up his companion. But woe to him who is alone when he falls, For he has no one to help him up. Ecclesiastes 4:9-10.
Preparing community – “Do you see a man who excels in his work? He will stand before kings; He will not stand before unknown men.” Proverbs 22:29.
Purpose-driven community – “Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you; Before you were born, I sanctified you; I ordained you a prophet to the nations.” Jeremiah 1:5.
Playing community – 12 I know that there is nothing better for people than to be happy and to do good while they live. 13 That each of them may eat and drink and find satisfaction in all their toil—this is the gift of God. Ecclesiastes 3:12.
